to support and see what we can expect for the next season. The parties are a great opportunity to catch up with all those people in the industry that you may not see from season to season.

– Which designers do you think will stand out the most?

I always look forward to Jonathan Saunders and the Vivienne Westwood Red Label shows. Two very different brands and collections, but equally as impactful.

– Where would you recommend to go out in London during Fashion Week?

I’m a huge fan of Sketch. It’s got THE best buzz and the staff there are so friendly. The May Fair Bar of course, if always awash with LFW regulars and they do the most wonderful cocktails.

– What’s it like to be involved?

Fashion is such a great industry to work in and London Fashion Week is a melting pot of talent and creativity, so it’s wonderful to be involved as a retailer supporting British brands. For me, it’s more about networking but for our buying team it’s all about seeing the trends coming through for the next season and meeting brands that are new on the block and most importantly are relevant for the shopper.

– What do you think we can expect to see this London Fashion Week?

Judging by the pre-collections, colour and print is still going to be key for Spring Summer 13, particularly brights and neons. The silhouette and fabrics will be softer, against the strong cuts and rich fabrics of Autumn Winter and I believe the futuristic feel of this season will continue.

Have you been to any

shows? Tell us what you think or pop in for a LFW cocktail – you never know who you might bump into at The May Fair!
