Power dressing: First Ladies, Women Politicians & Fashion 0

Posted in Fashion, London Reporter

It’s no secret that we love fashion at The May Fair and so during our favourite fashion event of the year – London Fashion Week – we’re exploring every edge of the fashion world, and that includes style in the political arena as well as the catwalk.

We’re delighted then to have a sneak peek at our favourite fashion journalist Robb Young’s new book ‘Power Dressing: First Ladies, Women Politicians & Fashion’. From Hilary Clinton to Michelle Obama and good old Maggie Thatcher, this fascinating book takes you on a journey of over 50 leading ladies’ fashion moments and their passion for style.

The book has received rave reviews and Suzy Menkes, fashion editor of the International Herald Tribune, puts it perfectly: “Every woman plotting her way to the top should read ‘Power Dressing’ to decide on her political armor of choice and to gauge

the weight of what she wears.”
