Antony Hawman from is back this week to give us a round up of all the latest fashion news, thanks Antony!

“Unless you have been living under a rock for the last week, you would’ve known it’s been London Fashion Week.

At Paul Smith, the emphasis was on what the brand does best, tailoring with a twist. Models sported a variety of trouser suits and tailoring from tight figure hugging cigarette pants to over sized suit trousers. This collection was all about the boyish look.

Smith Says; ‘I wanted timeless clothes, ones that you could add to your wardrobe, pieces you’ve maybe borrowed from your brother, boyfriend or husband’ and this ethos echoed throughout. To add some femininity to the collection, Smith creates a beautiful billowing aubergine jumpsuit with a pop of orange, simply finished with a pair of brown toe-capped, semi translucent brogues.

Mulberry’s ‘Secret Garden’ inspired show held at Claridges, was one of childhood nostalgia and frivolity. Emma Hill says; “I love the idea of this amazing magical world and think that’s quite Mulberry.” This was played throughout in a series of bright colours inspired by flowers such as crocuses and bluebells. As is in Mulberry tradition the show started with softer tones of chestnut and denim progressing through to pastels, rose pink, blue and plum.

It was all about the 70’s vibe as Mulberry showcased big high wasted skirts, trousers, prim shirts and boots to die for.
